Release 0.8.7


Hello again everyone, this is another light on new features update, mostly for the purposes of submitting to game festivals, plus some small backend things. First off you might notice I hid the MFA version for now. This is because it is a two year old and very out of date version missing many features and quality of life changes, so as part of trying to put my best foot forward, I'm hiding those versions, which will come back once this becomes more of an archival page for that original version of the game.

There are basically two changes in this build. One is entirely on the backend. My version of A* in this project now has feature parity with the version I was using to make tools for character development. This doesn't mean much for the game as those features are turned off, but it does mean there might be some very small adjustments to the way characters behave when they start a new action. The second, small but important change is this: I finally changed the default AI mode. I had completely forgotten what I'd set the default AI mode to at this point years ago because of the performance problems I was having, so greedy search was the default. It's a perfectly fine and very stable approach but it leads to fairly boring and predictable performances by the AI. As of this update, the default mode used is A* which shouldn't have much of a computational performance impact but you will notice the characters doing more and different things if you have been playing with greedy this whole time.

EDIT: I missed another crash in the tutorial from some changes to the key rebinding that's still in progress! This build should work,
